You are invited to join us for our annual Mother's Day Event for 2023 at General Public Frankston on Saturday 27th May! Dinner and drinks from 6:30pm and bowling to start at 8pm sharp. Tickets are usually $40 but our club will be subsidising half the cost for our members so are only $20 to be purchased by 19/05/2023 at the latest. The following will be included; - 1 game of bowling  - pizza - chips - drink voucher (gluten free and vegetarian options available, please advise of any food intolerances when purchasing your ticket) Our table is booked from 6:30pm and bowling will begin at 8pm sharp. This innovative course is designed for new and expectant parents and is delivered in partnership with the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE). Our educators will guide parents through an interactive and engaging paediatric first aid training session, followed by education and evidence-based resources that will help Mums and Dads build their support networks and look after their own emotional wellbeing throughout pregnancy and early parenthood too. Some of the topics we will cover in this 4 hour course include: Infant and child CPR Burns Choking Drowning Allergies Fractures Head injuries Bleeding Fevers Poisoning Bites & Stings Asthma & Croup The Transition to Parenthood Emotional Wellbeing Understanding Depression & Anxiety Community Resources & Support for Mums and Dads And more Babies and breastfeeding are welcome at all of our sessions. Parents can practice their new skills and there will be time for questions too!  Please register each person attending (eg both members of a couple if you are both coming). The Frankston Peninsula Multiple Birth Association will be hosting a fundraising event at The Mayor's Party in the Park on Sunday 16th April at Cruden Farm Langwarrin. Come along and support our club by purchasing either a drink, bag of lollies or bag of popcorn! All funds raised go directly to our club. Please join us for another Clothes Swap afternoon on Saturday 1st April between 1:30-3:00pm at Langwarrin Fire Station (184 Centre Rd). This is a great opportunity to bring any clothing items your children no longer need & pick up some new items donated by others. Please feel free to come along to see if there are items that may be suitable even if you have no items to donate as we are always left with a lot leftover!
